Dear fans of progressive, we are proud to announce the promotion of a great book, translated into Serbian, “El sueño de un DJ: Memorias” by the legendary Hernan Cattaneo. Organization Progresivna Suza, in cooperation with Blender & Infinity Lighthouse team, made one of their dreams come true.
The autobiographical book of the Argentinian international DJ, Hernan Cattaneo, is a great story of his rise and journey, explaining his long career and what it meant for him to fulfill his dream of professionally mixing electronic music at the highest level.
Hernan talks in a relaxed way from the moment of his first contact when he saw the professional DJ in action, through many visits to New York to see Frankie Knuckles live, to his residency at Club Pachá, in Buenos Aires, and performances with the Chemical Brothers and Paul Oakenfold, who will take him on an international tour later.
In the book, you’ll discover some of the key moments and highlights of his career, including photos and even Spotify links to playlists with tracks dating back to his earliest music collections.

Hernan Cattaneo was born in the Caballito neighborhood of the city of Buenos Aires in 1965. Hypnotized by music since his early childhood he knew how to transform it into his profession, trademark and destiny. Now he is the most important DJ from Argentina and is recognized worldwide by fans and fellow artists. His more than thirty-year-old career and fifteen passports got him about three thousand planes to cover over six million miles. He performed more than seventeen thousand hours on stage, making tens of millions of people dance in one of the three hundred cities he visits with his shows.
He played in thousands of clubs and festivals, in churches, in deserts, at the airport of Buenos Aires, on the shores of lake Nahuel Huapi in Bariloche and at the Teatro Colón. He released fourteen albums and tons of singles and remixes, leaving a personal legacy and transforming progressive house and electronic music once and for all. Through his own Sudbeat label and his weekly Resident radio show he promotes the work of young musicians and DJs to generate a global community and open the door for new generations.

Progresivna Suza, one of the synonyms for progressive house in Serbia, was founded spontaneously in 2018 as a small group of passionate fans of electronic music, based in Serbia and Croatia.
The organization is also behind the weekly Progressive Tales podcast that has become a ritual for many, hosting over 200 artists around the globe. In addition, the Suza team actively contributes to the electronic music scene by releasing music under their own label, Suza Records.
During the five years of the group’s existence, as the number of new members increased, Progresivna Suza organized over 30 parties in Belgrade and Novi Sad clubs, hosting great names from the scene such as: Alex O’Rion, Simos Tagias, GMJ, Olga Misty, Eran Aviner , Navar, with local support from our well-known DJs: Bokee, Acim, Jelly For The Babies, Popi Divine, Hobin Rude, Igor D., Aleksandar Markovic, Migazz, Lukai.
Progresivna Suza did two festivals which held in Turija, where big foreign names of the progressive house scene participated: Roger Martinez, Stereo Underground, DJ Ruby, Emotional Tourist, East Cafe, Nohan, Missus. Some of them performed in Serbia for the first time especially on this occasion.
Infinity Lighthouse is a media house dedicated to telling the most beautiful and romantic stories about auto-moto sports, American football, space exploration, water polo, basketball and other inspiring topics, about man’s desire and need to reach the limits of humanity.
Their mission is to spread love in general, but also through what everyone, who is Infinity Lighthouse, loves. They build a place of love and peace, communication and inspiration. They try to initiate ideas, do what no one else has.
They have published books by Moto Sports greats such as: Ayrton Senna, Valentino Rossi, Kimi Raikkonen, Mark Marquez, and they are adding this project to expand the collection of interesting stories.
