The great live spectacle: Moby on July 21st at Kalemegdan

Moby, a pioneer of electronic music and a global music icon, returns to Belgrade for a massive open-air spectacle. The most influential auteur of the contemporary scene will perform on July 21st at the Lower Town (Donji grad) of the Kalemegdan Fortress, bringing the audience a powerful and visually stunning show that blends the energy of club culture, the emotional weight of his greatest hits, and songs that defined generations.

The Belgrade concert comes at a time of massive regional excitement for Moby’s return to the stage. His upcoming performance at the Pula Arena on July 23rd is already completely sold out. This milestone further proves that Moby’s arrival is one of the most anticipated musical events of the summer, making Kalemegdan the ultimate regional gathering point for fans eager to experience his signature live performance.

After a hiatus of more than a decade from touring, Moby returned to live performances in 2024, and his Live 2026 tour brings a completely refreshed concert concept to audiences across 28 European cities.

Setting the stage before Moby takes over is Luton & Šćepa, a brotherly duo renowned for their high-energy sets that seamlessly blend solid grooves, rich harmonies, and a live-band feel. Their performances consistently transform any clubbing space into a packed dancefloor, making Kalemegdan on July 21st the perfect backdrop for a night dedicated to electronic music, movement, and deep emotion.

Over a career spanning more than three decades, Moby has redefined the boundaries of electronic music, fusing electronica, ambient, house, trip-hop, soul, and alternative rock into a sound that conquered global charts and arena stages. His iconic 1999 album “Play” sold over 12 million copies, cementing its place as one of the most important releases in modern music history, while anthems like “Porcelain”, “Natural Blues”, “Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?”, and “Lift Me Up” continue to be sung word-for-word by audiences worldwide.

With over 20 million albums sold globally and collaborations with legendary artists such as David Bowie, Public Enemy, Ozzy Osbourne, The Beastie Boys, and Daft Punk, Moby has solidified his status as an artist who creates trends rather than following them. His musical legacy, combined with his lifelong activism for animal rights, environmental issues, and human rights, makes him one of the most authentic and recognizable figures in contemporary culture.
