ULF: A New Progressive & Melodic Podcast by UV Records

UV Record Label supremos Paul Thomas and Das Pharaoh proudly present the premiere episode of their brand-new Underground Live Forever (ULF) Podcast, available from Tuesday, 9th December. And this is something truly unique.

As a label, UV Records has always delivered the freshest and most innovative progressive house from some of the finest producers in the scene. The ULF Podcast continues that tradition — and goes one step further. In fact, it is the first dedicated progressive house podcast of its kind.

A Fresh Concept for Progressive House

The format is simple yet brilliant.

Up to four guest DJs each deliver an exclusive 3–4 track micro mix. Between the sets, hosts Paul Thomas and Das Pharaoh sit down with the artists to discuss the music they’ve just played, what they’re currently working on, and life in general.

Paul and Das know many of their world-renowned guests personally, and it shows. The warmth, friendship, empathy, and mutual respect between hosts and guests can’t be faked. When the ULF Podcast ends, you’re left with one simple feeling — happier.

Recorded Live at ADE 2025

The first three episodes were filmed and recorded during Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) 2025 at Armada Studios, Amsterdam. This gives the show a vibrant live atmosphere, with a crowd gradually gathering as the episode unfolds. Guests often end up joining the audience themselves — the music is simply too good not to stay.

Episode 1 Highlights – ULF Podcast Episode 1 (Video) kicks off the series in style.

Ruben Karapetyan

Progressive house legend Ruben Karapetyan opens the show with a stunning four-track mix of fresh, cutting-edge material, including an outstanding unsigned track from the US-based Armenian artist. He also shares insights into life on the road.

Mir Omar

Next up is Brooklyn’s Mir Omar, delivering a dreamy, perfectly paced set guaranteed to lift your mood and get shoulders moving at any time of day. He also offers insights into the New York progressive scene and what lies ahead.

Blake Jarell

Completing the American trilogy is Orlando, Florida’s Blake Jarell. A familiar face at Armada Studios after years working with Armin van Buuren, Blake delivers warm, rich tones that evolve into laid-back breakbeats, building intensity without rushing the tempo. He reflects on working with Armin and what it’s like returning to music after stepping away for a while.

Das Pharaoh

To close the episode, Das Pharaoh steps up with his own mini mix, showcasing exactly why he is held in such high regard by his peers.

A Podcast Worth Replaying

When the podcast finishes, you may find yourself wondering what to listen to next — because there’s truly nothing else like it. Thankfully, ULF stands up brilliantly to multiple replays.
