Progresivna Suza organization will delight all lovers of old progressive sound with a unique party that will take you on a journey through time! Reserve your place for Friday, March 08th, when you will enjoy the unique atmosphere and sounds from records played by our special guests.

Klub Kult will become the epicenter of retro vibes with two virtuosos of turntables. Their guest is one of the most respected DJs from the Mediterranean islands – DJ Ruby, who will take us through the most memorable moments of music history, from the late 90s to the mid-2000s. Our local talent, DJ Popi Divine, will join this musical journey. His set will be a great prelude to this Retro Night, so get ready for an explosion of nostalgic beats and timeless hits!

DJ Ruby is one of the most profilic underground dance music artists that loomed from the island of Malta, amassing a huge fan base that follows him unconditionally.

Over the years, DJ Ruby’s diary has formed to be more like an atlas, performing regularly in clubs all over the world: Sydney, India, Ibiza, Mexico, Russia, Germany, Egypt, Jordan, Netherlands, Thailand, Australia, Italy, Dubai, USA, Hong Kong, including the lineups of notorious festivals such as Timewarp, Ozora, Transmission, Berlin’s Love Parade, Creamfields Malta, and Tomorrowland Unite. In 2021, DJ Ruby performed for the first time in Serbia at the Belgrade summer club Barutana.

As a music producer, DJ Ruby holds a vast discography of his own productions, remixes and 3 albums. Many of his tracks were supported by the planet’s leading DJs. As a promoter, in recent years he has succeeded in reviving the progressive house scene in Malta. He succeeded mostly thanks to his annual partnership project with Guy J, the Secret Series concept, the Open to Close show and the regular Ruby & friends parties, where respected artists such as Cid Inc, Stereo Underground, Jeremy Olander, Miss Monique, Subandrio, Golan Zocher and Emi Galvan have already performed.
With an impressive biography that can be nearly infinite, DJ Ruby has earned a well-deserved reputation that can be only summarised into one word: legend!

Popi Divine mixed his fingers in electronic music, even if it was expected to stay on the violin, in the ill-fated ’90s and without a single letter, like DJ Pop. He often performed in Belgrade cafes and smaller clubs, persistent and always daring, which can still be felt today in his music, which is always unlimited, surprising, in some moments cheeky.

He participates in various projects, dealing with both production and performances, with the desire to present electronic music as very melodic and cohesive. In 2010, he started his record company “Industrial records” with his conceptual partner B-Like. In 2012, periodic collaboration with the string quartet “Wonder Strings”, which continues to this day. In 2015, he was a finalist in the global competition “Burn Residency” in Ibiza as a representative of Serbia.

Forever in his beloved Belgrade, where the audience can most often listen to him in the favorite bar 25th, club Half and other places that try hard to make the real scene survive various shocks and new trends. However, he is an old school lover of vinyl, and yet also excited by new technologies. In the summer in Montenegro, he enjoys Virtu beach, making lineups and bookings for well-known Virtu Sunsets parties with names such as Volen Sentir, Dave Seaman, Finnebassen, as well as local performers: Marko Nastić, Milij Sefić, Mr. Jools, DJ Millie…
